A BRITISH man has died in Spain after he and his wife were allegedly hit by a drunk driver outside their hotel.
The tourist, 50, died in hospital and his wife, 48, remains there in serious condition.
The couple were making their way back to their hotel on Tuesday night just after 11pm when the car hit them as they crossed a road.
The driver then fled the scene but was caught by cops and found to be over the legal alcohol limit for driving.
They were staying at the Costa Narejos Hotel in Los Narejos, south of Murcia.
