The Edmonton Oilers finally hit the road on Wednesday after playing their last eleven (11) NHL games in Rogers Place, including the final three games of the the 2019-20 season last March, the four games of the play-in series in August, and now the first four games of the 2021 season in January. The club’s notable lack of success in the not-so-friendly confines (a combined 3-8-0 in those games) suggest that it’s beyond high time they take their show on the road.
