Matthew Wood — a.k.a. Creeasian — named city's Indigenous Artist in Residence

Matthew Wood was on tour dancing with A Tribe Called Red when the world of audiences and crowds went to sleep indefinitely last spring. A regalia-dressed performer who mixes hip-hop Bboy moves with traditional pow wow Grassdancing, Wood moves his body under the name Creeasian in quill-and-feather regalia.
