Amelia Adams leads 9News winners at Kennedy Awards

Amelia Adams has been recognised for her outstanding work with two major honours at the prestigious Kennedy Awards for Excellence in Journalism.

Adams was honoured for her work as US Correspondent, including coverage of the US Capitol riots earlier this year, winning the Tom Krause Award for Outstanding Foreign Correspondent and Outstanding TV News Reporting.

60 Minutes' Liz Hayes, Gareth Harvey and Natalie Clancy took out the Paul Lockyer Award for Outstanding Regional Broadcast Journalism and the 9News team won the Outstanding Online News Breaking award for the second successive year.
