The 2021 Anambra governorship election commenced on Saturday as security operatives patrolled various parts of the state to enforce order.

Officials of the police, Nigerian Army and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) participated in the security exercise.

No case of violence had yet been reported as of the time of filing this report.

Piknic says to expect dance, pop, house, disco, and "guaranteed good vibes."
