T20 World Cup 2021: New Zealand beat England to reach first T20 final
Dubai, Nov 10 (newsin.asia) – A stunning finish saw New Zealand beat England and reach the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for the first time.
After winning the toss, New Zealand decided to ball first. Sent in to bat, Moeen Ali (51*) and Dawid Malan (41) helped England post a competitive 166 for 4 against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi.
For New Zealand, Tim Southee (1/24), Adam Milne (1/31), Ish Sodhi (1/32) and James Neesham (1/18) were the wicket-takers.

England started off well restricting New Zealand to 36/2 during the powerplay. At one stage the Black Caps failing to score a run off the bat for 12 consecutive deliveries.

But Conway’s departure proved to be the moment New Zealand hit the accelerator, racing to victory with five balls to spare as a thundering cameo from Neesham (27 off 11) and a towering 72* from Daryl Mitchell ensured a clinical victory with 6 balls to spare.
Chris Woakes (2/36) and Liam Livingstone (2/22) were the most successful bowlers for England.
