Police have made a dream come true for a little Melbourne girl battling a brain tumour, with a special visit to meet Victoria Police's four-legged members.
Five-year-old Isla, who is obsessed with police, has been treated to a day with a Victoria Police Mounted Branch and Dog Squad.
She couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she was given the chance to ride the police horses and watch them train, and greet the dogs.

Her mother, Kirsty Fischer, said it was a dream for Isla, who was very interested in policing.
"She dresses up as police officers at home, she chases me around to put me into jail," she said.
Isla was treated to a visit by Carrum Downs police at home for her birthday earlier this year after her party had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The little girl quickly captured the hearts of the police officers.
Acting Sergeant Dave Malloch organised the visit.
"As soon as I walked into the house she ran at me," he said.
Isla's brain tumour was discovered when she was just 14-months-old.
She has been in remission for two years but recently found out she has to begin treatment again to recommence fighting the tumour.
The police therefore decided to surprise her again this week before she heads into hospital.
"She's courageous, she's dedicated, she's so brave with what she does and I think she's going to make a great police officer in the future," Acting Sergeant Malloch said.
