Edmonton weather: Wonderful weekend to get out and explore

Wow, wow, wow! This is going to be an absolutely gorgeous weekend! There are fun things going on in the city like the 10 day Deep Freeze: A Byzantine Winter Party kicks off at Borden Park and Pipon Village. It’s is packed full of family fun including ice sculptures, folklore, bannock, games and much more!

And if that isn’t your jam then there are a lot of other options like skating, snowshoeing, skiing at one of the local hills or just getting out for a walk through the many beautiful trails in the city. Watch your step because it might still be slippery after all that freezing rain earlier this week.
