Boris Johnson has been relentlessly mocked over his efforts to cling to power in the wake of ‘Partygate’ but this has got to be the best takedown yet.
It’s a 4-minute Line of Duty ‘special’ which has just been shared on Twitter by the series’ acclaimed creator, Jed Mercurio.
It was put together by political campaign group Led By Donkeys with some top-level help, by the looks of it, and it’s very funny and totally damning.

Simply magnificent.
And here are just a few of the many things people were saying about it.
1.
Actually made me quite emotional, as a people we have been traumatised by the past few years, separations, deaths, loneliness, yet we did it believing it to be the right thing…they didnt, then they lied about it.

It took us back to what Jed Mercurio had to say about Boris Johnson when the so-called Prime Minister dressed up in a police uniform last year.
Thank you for submitting your audition for the next series of #LineofDuty but we’re looking for a character with at least one redeeming moral principle and a performance that places even just a scintilla of doubt in the audience’s mind that he might not be totally bent pic.twitter.com/3jnJL74c5f

Last word to the man himself (no, not Johnson).
Brilliant work @ByDonkeys
