In the last one month, Afolayan has been sharing a series of new images from the location – the 37-hectare KAP Film Village Studio and Resort, Igbojaye, in Itesiwaju local government area of Oyo state.

He did not tell Netng the title of the new project when we asked him but said it would be released later this year.

From the images on his social media pages, we could see the movie is star-studded with the appearances of veteran and contemporary actors like Kareem ‘Babawande’ Adepoju, Adebayo Salami, Tunde Kelani, Sola Sobowale, British-Nigerian actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Taiwo Hassan, Fathia Balogun, Bimbo Ademoye, Moji Olayiwola, and many others.

In another post seen on his Facebook page by Netng, he said the movie is the second of the Netflix three films slate. His deal with Netflix has already produced the December 2021 holiday flick ‘A Naija Christmas’.

Afolayan told Netng that the film primarily would be shot at his new film village studio. “The shooting will take about six weeks, ending hopefully the first week of March,” he told Netng.

“I can’t give away the title yet, but trust me, guys this movie will bang,” Afolayan said.

Afolayan is gradually proving his power as a leading entertainment mogul in Africa with his new 37 hectares project site – KAP Film Village Studio and Resort, Igbojaye, in Oyo state, making him one of the filmmakers on the continent to fully own a major film production site.

He also recently signed a deal with the Mastercard Foundation to train 300,000 young Nigerians in film, television, and motion picture production over the next three years.
