CHICAGO (CBS)– A toddler was found wandering on the street in Englewood early Tuesday morning.
Chicago police said a good Samaritan spotted the little girl all alone in the middle of the street, in the 600 block of West 71st Street. The man who found the girl put her in his car to stay warm while he called police.
The girl was wearing pink pajamas and a pink coat. She’s 2 to 3 years old.
She was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition with no apparent injuries.
Police have no reports of missing kids, but are now knocking on doors in the area.

<h2>President <a href="https://www.naijanews.com/2024/01/17/i-inherited-buharis-liabilities-assets-tinubu/">Bola Tinubu</a> has sworn in Ambassador Desmond Akawor as a Federal Commissioner of the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).</h2>
<p><strong>Naija News</strong> reports that Akawor, who was the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, was recently screened for office by the Senate alongside others.</p>
<p>The brief swearing-in ceremony was held just before the commencement of the year's first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.</p>
<p>Recall that President Tinubu had <strong><a href="https://www.naijanews.com/2023/11/23/tinubu-appoints-akawor-as-rmafc-federal-commissioner/">approved the appointment of Akawor</a></strong> in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Thursday.</p>
<p>The President urged the new Federal Commissioner to deploy his robust experience across tiers of government toward the comprehensive reformation of processes that will ensure the most efficient and productive utilization of allocations to all three levels of government in Nigeria.</p>
<p>Akawor, before the latest appointment, served in various capacities as Nigeria’s Ambassador to South Korea and Minister of State of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).</p>
<p>He also served as the Sole Administrator of the Greater Port Harcourt Development Authority, Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, and Executive Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (Engineering & Technical Services).</p>

<h2>President <a href="https://www.naijanews.com/topic/tinubu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bola Ahmed Tinubu</a> on Thursday held a Ramadan Iftar (breaking of fast) with some state governors.</h2>
<p><strong>Naija News</strong> gathered that the Iftar was held at the Banquet Hall in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.</p>
<p>It was gathered that the governors will be the President's initial guests for Iftar, as he plans to have more gatherings with other senior government officials throughout the holy month Ramadan.</p>
<p>The state governors had arrived at the presidential villa at about 6.30m.<br />

The governors are those of Kwara State, Abdulraham Abdulrasaq; Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori; Benue State, Hyacinth Alia; Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang; Kogi State, Usman Ododo; Kebbi State, Mohammed Nasir Idris; Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed; Borno State, Babagana Zulum; Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun; Nassarawa State, Abdullahi Sule; Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru; Bayelsa State, Duoye Diri; Gombe State, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya; Abia State, Alex Otti; Edo State, Godwin Obaseki; Taraba State, Agbu Kefas and Kaduna State, Uba Sani, among others.</p>
<p>Some other senior government officials in the Iftar include Vice President Kashim Shettima; Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.</p>
<p>Recall that former President Muhammadu Buhari had also hosted the leadership of the National Assembly, the Judiciary, the All Progressives Congress, and traditional rulers, among others during the Ramadan Iftar.</p>
