The live shows have officially begun on Nigerian Idol season 7! And for the very first round of the live shows, the top 12 contestants – Gerald, Abigail, Jordan, Itohan, Banty, David Operah, Zadok, Faith, Progress, Debby, Precious, and Joel – all put their best foot forward. The 12 of them gave us vocals, awe-inspiring performances and Vogue-worthy looks.
But even though the contestants brought their A-game on all fronts, it isn’t enough to keep them in the show. The only way to keep your favourite contestants on the show is by voting for them.
To get you started, we’ve put together a step by step guide to voting for your favourite contestant below.
- You can vote for your favourite contestants via the Mobile site, Website [africamagic.tv/nigerianidol], and the MyDStv or MyGOtv App. To vote on the website or mobile site, register with your full name, year of birth, gender, location, and cell phone number before or during the voting round.
- Active DStv subscribers in selected countries with an eligible package can vote for their favourite contestant via the MyDStv/MyGotv App.
- Voting will open every Sunday in conjunction with the on-air announcement and will close by 9 pm on Wednesday this week. From next week Sunday, the 27th of March, voting will close on Thursdays at 9 pm.
- Each active subscriber has 100 votes on the Mobile site and Website, but if you are a DStv subscriber with an eligible package in the selected countries and have the MyDStv or MyGOtv App, then you can vote based on your package.
- Please see the following voting tags attached to each package:
