One of the books, ‘Conversations With Showbiz Stars,’ is a revealing account of the journalist’s encounters with 35 leading Nigerian entertainers. Kanayo, Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliot, Chioma Chukwuka, Ali Baba, Gbenga Adeyinka, Basketmouth, Okey Bakassi, Tee A, Julius Agwu, AY, Bovi and Don Jazzy, to name a few.

King Sunny Ade, the king of juju music, an ace performer and guitarist is Nigeria’s first indigenous musician to be nominated for Grammys in the World Music Album Category. He earned global recognition with his unique blend of western pop and traditional African music.

Femi Kuti is a multiple-award winning Afrobeat musician. Femi has been nominated for a Grammy award five times in the world music category in 2003, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2022 for Global Music Album.

Richard Mofe-Damijo otherwise known as RMD is a Nigerian actor, writer, producer, lawyer and former journalist. He was also a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State in 2009.

The success stories of these entertainers  are featured in the new book, ‘Conversations With Showbiz Stars’ to inspire a generation that looks up to these celebrities as role models.

In the second book ‘A Taste of Success,’ the author focuses on entrepreneurship, offering incisive interviews on the corporate world, showbiz, academia, law, religion, among other sectors. It features perspectives from respected voices such as Segun Osoba, the former governor of Ogun State and renowned journalist; Sam Ohuabunwa, respected pharmacist and former chairman of Neimeth Pharmaceuticals as well as Bruce Onobrakpeya, the legendary artist.

Both books that would be unveiled on the author’s 50th birthday have been described  by the author as mini biographies of 60 Nigerians who have excelled in their different fields.

Reflecting on the experience of writing both books, Azuh Arinze said,“Without holding back anything, they shared with me how they embarked on their success journey; how they eventually attained success and above all, how they have been sustaining that success.”

“The interviewees cut across, which means that no matter where you play or intend to get into, there are people who have excelled there already and whom we got to share the stories of how they did it. Put simply, there’s so much to be learnt from the books by anyone willing to read, learn and succeed,” he added.

The respected entertainment cum celebrity journalist who is the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of ‘Yes International!’ served as the Editor of Encomium Weekly from 2003 to 2011. Prior to that, he had edited Reel Stars Magazine. He has previously published five other books, among them ‘Encounters’, ‘Success Is Not Servec A La Carte’, ‘Tested and Trusted Success Secrets of the Rich and Famous,’ and ‘The CEO’s Bible volumes 1 and 2.’
