It was a homecoming of sorts for the Edmonton Oilers, playing in their own barn for the first time in a fortnight, and before a full house for much, much longer than that. But it wound up a night to remember for the few thousand Montreal Canadiens fans in attendance, and one to forget for the hometown faithful who saw their club drop a 5-2 decision to the NHL 32nd-place team.
