Music and fashion enthusiast Debby ended her journey on Nigerian Idol Season 7 as she was evicted during the Sunday night live show.
In a new twist to the show, Debby, who started singing at age seven, was evicted at the beginning of the show. In the last three weeks, contestants were evicted at the end of the Sunday night live show after other contestants moving into the next stage must have performed.
Debby could not secure enough votes to make the top 7 spots after a total of 20 million viewers voted for their favourite contestants this week.
There are now seven contestants left on the show as the race to the finale gets more intense.
Viewers can vote on the Africa Magic website and the DStv and GOtv App to keep their favourite contestants in the competition. The live show continues next Sunday on Africa Magic Urban and Family from 7 pm.
