A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Currently, it’s 5 C at the Edmonton Blatchford station with 7 km/h winds from the south, southeast.

We’ve been waiting for winter to come to an end. I’ve been cautiously optimistic in the last couple of weeks that we could put the shovels away and start to bring out the bikes and other fun toys that have been tucked away throughout the winter.

There is some snow that is still sticking around in the shady spots but, if temperatures stay in the double digits, we should start to see the grass start to turn green and buds start to form on the trees.

I have nothing negative to say. This is just what I needed after a long, snowy, and cold winter.
