MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Thursday morning, you’ll have a chance secure your spot to watch the Timberwolves in the playoffs.
The Wolves are playing the No. 2 seed Memphis Grizzlies in a best of seven series for the first round of the playoffs. There will be two guaranteed games at Target Center, and possibly a third.
Tickets for those games go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.
After a thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday to secure their playoff run, the excitement around the team could not be higher. It’s that fan energy that’s going to hopefully carry this team throughout the playoffs. Especially during games with home court advantage.
“It’s unreal man. Minnesota basketball, you guys probably already know it’s been a long time coming,” fan James Borrelle said. “It’s awesome to see them hit the playoffs this year, be able to clinch it.”
The first two games are in Memphis, and game 1 is this Saturday.
You can order your tickets online or over the phone for games 3 and 4 at Target Center, which will be April 21 and 23. Tickets start at $20.

Drivers will be detoured via De Boucherville Street, Hochelaga Street, Dickson Street South, and Souligny Avenue East.</p><p><strong>Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge / A-40</strong><br/> The Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge will be shut down in both directions between Vaudreuil-Dorion and Senneville from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday. Eastbound drivers can detour via A-30 East, Exit 5 to A-20 East, and Exit 39 to Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants. Westbound, use Exit 41 to Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants South, A-20 West, and Exit 29 to A-30 West. Tolls will be suspended in both directions on the A-30/Serge-Marcil Bridge.</p><p><strong>Côte-de-Liesse</strong><br/> From 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Côte-de-Liesse will be closed in both directions between Côte-de-Liesse West and Dion Street, affecting Saint-Laurent and the Town of Mount Royal. Multiple local detours will be in place, and lane reductions are expected in the area.</p><p><strong>Saint-Jacques Street</strong><br/> Saint-Jacques eastbound will be shut between Des Seigneurs Street and Guy Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Detours will run via Des Seigneurs, Notre-Dame, Guy, and Saint-Jacques.</p><p><strong>Other ongoing closures</strong></p> <ul> <li>The REM remains closed until Sunday for system work.</li><li>The LASSO festival runs Saturday and Sunday at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
