Fire crews are tackling a large house fire in Brisbane’s South.
Smoke from the fire in Gillan Street, Norman Park can be seen across the city.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said another house was also on fire.
“Crews are currently working to bring the fire under control,” it said.
“There’s one house fully involved and there’s a second that’s partially involved,”
Queensland Ambulance said they treated a person with minor burns on their hand at 2.10pm.
They didn’t need to be taken to hospital.
Fire authorities warned locals to close windows and doors and told drivers to avoid the area.
