Queensland caravan park owners say they've been forced to turn desperate renters away, as more people turn to holiday accommodation in search of a home.
A lack of available rental properties is causing many Queenslanders and families to pour into caravan parks, with some reaching full capacity.
Tanya Forster from Ashmore Palms Holiday Village said many had turned to the park while looking for more secure options.

"Often they're moving in for like a month short term but then they might extend for three months sometimes up to six months trying to find somewhere to rent of even somewhere to buy," she said.
"We've allocated about 60 of our holiday cabins to short term rentals plus we've got long term rentals but we just simply do not have enough."
Monique Clark made the decision to move into the Gold Coast holiday park recently.
She said one of the biggest challenges was finding availability.

"I was concerned because we'd been – well I didn't know what we were going to do because we had to move out of the house we were in," Clark said.
Some caravan parks report receiving 40 calls a day from people desperate for a roof over their head, with most forced to turn people away due to reaching full capacity.
Ona Berghan-Wiley from Ingenia Rentals said the park has opened up new cabins to keep up with demand.
"As soon as they were built, they were taken immediately," she said.
"In the last couple of months we've had an increase in accommodation enquiries."
