Teen boy dies after rollover in allegedly stolen car

A 13-year-old boy has died two days after sustaining critical injuries in a rollover crash in south-east Queensland.

He died this morning after being airlifted to hospital on Monday, police said.

Four boys, all in their early teens, had been driving in an allegedly stolen car through Oakey in Toowoomba, west of Brisbane, when the vehicle rolled on Henningsen Road near the Warrego Highway around 8.30am on Monday.

A 14-year-old boy was also airlifted to hospital. He remains in a critical condition.

Queensland Ambulance Service said the two boys sustained critical head injuries after the vehicle rolled.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anybody with information or dashcam footage are urged to come forward.
