Episode 9 of The Real Housewives of Lagos is here, and it’s packed! But most importantly, we get to see the beauty of Nigerian culture.
It was a show of the best of our music, artistes, food and style through the events that the housewives had planned for the episode. Everything screamed class and culture, from Iyabo Ojo’s daughter’s 21st birthday to Toyin Lawani-Adebayo’s culture themed party.
Here are some of our highlights from the 9th episode.
Chioma And Toyin Reach A Truce
Chioma and Toyin have always had this underlying tension, with Toyin thinking Chioma is trying to take her King of Queens or King of Fashion crown, but for Chioma, it’s pretty different.
“If my star is Bright, my star would always be bright! So I suggest you go and get your sunglasses because I’m not diminishing my star for NO ONE!” Chioma says as she addresses the issue.
The housewives have reached a truce and have found a way to move on during their sip and paint session with Mariam.
Priscilla’s 21st Birthday
Priscilla Ajoke Ojo,Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, turned 21 on March 13, 2022. The Housewives showed up in style as usual, and all of them slayed with Toyin Lawani-Adebayo styling Mariam and Iyabo Ojo.
Chioma Shows Interest In Building
Although Chioma and Carolyna are not currently on good terms, in this episode, Chioma follows Carolyna to shop for supplies on a project she’s working on while expressing that she has a project she would like to work on with Carolyna in the future.
Toyin’s Culture Themed Party
In this episode, we could all agree on one thing: Toyin Lawani-Adebayo is the best host among the ladies. The culture themed party she hosted was one of the show’s major highlights as she invited celebrity artiste 9ice.
She also showcased the Yoruba culture, lifestyle, and style, and the ladies loved it.
Tiannah Fortified
Toyin Lawani-Adebayo takes her birthday seriously; it’s almost like a festival every year, and this year is no different as she flew all the Housewives to Dubai for her 40th birthday. If that’s not money and class speaking, I don’t know what it is.
Carolyna Misplaces Her $43,000 bracelet
Towards the end of the episode, Carolyna was sad about misplacing her $43,000 bracelet. She disclosed that the bracelet, which was a gift from her boyfriend on Valentine’s day, was a very sentimental gift for her, which put her in a sombre mood.
