It’s the launch weekend of the BBNaija 7, and fans are really excited and looking forward to the new season. BBNaija is known for delivering 24/7 entertainment every year, and we are looking forward to this season.
Here are 5 things we cannot wait for this season:
Saturday Night Parties
The BBNaija Saturday parties are the real deal! The housemates are usually ‘turnt’, and with Biggie bringing in amazing DJs every week, the parties are usually lit. The events after the parties are usually another highlight of the night. The housemates are typically already in big energy and are usually up to one thing or the other. Sometimes, fights even break out, or things get spicy.
Ninjas
Before the pandemic, the Ninjas were usually a big part of the show. Fans loved seeing them and their mute selves. They are usually robotic and act based on Big Brother’s instructions. However, they bring their excitement to the show. Let’s throw it back to the Pepper Dem season when a Ninja on duty to throw dirt around the house slipped and fell. It was hilarious and trended heavily on social media.
Eviction Sundays
The Eviction Sundays are always the calmest days in the house. The drama from the week usually does not make it into this day as the housemates are usually sober and reflective. The fear of the unknown of who would leave Biggie’s house is usually at the top of their minds.
The housemates up for evictions are usually on edge, packing up their bags. Those who are safe are left wondering which of their friends will be walking out of the door. The day’s tension is not experienced by the housemates alone as the fans are also usually hopeful and praying that their numerous votes are enough to keep their fave in the house.
Ships
Imagine a BBNaija season without ships. Nah!! Ships are a big part of the show. From relationships to friendships and even situationships, there is always a ship. Their ability to sail and sink as quickly as possible is what makes the ships more interesting.
It’s also interesting that there are no limitations to how many ships one can get into. We see housemates getting and coming out of ships here and there and even creating shapes with it. Triangles, Squares, and what have you, depending on the number of housemates involved.
Drama
Big Brother Naija and drama are the ultimate combos. There is no BBNaija without drama. From the housemates serving theirs 24/7 in the house to the fans acting theirs all through the clock on social media. It is usually a drama party from all angles.
With BBNaija, twists and turns are a big part of the show as the enigmatic Big Brother always has something up his sleeve that ruffles things up in the house among the housemates and the fans outside.
