You’ll probably already have seen that video of newly appointed education minister Andrea Jenkyns giving the middle finger to a crowd of protestors outside Downing Street.

Ministers aren’t expected to be perfect.

My issue with this is not so much “She’s Education Minister (unbelievably), what a bad example to set to kids” but giving the finger…who does that? Outside of American teen TV? Why not a V-sign?
