Africa’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, is back! The first live show of BBNaija Season tagged ‘Level Up’ kicked off in glamour as its host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu showed up in style to welcome the housemates.
This year which promises to be more entertaining with the return of the fan-favourite ninjas and Biggie’s twists will be live streamed on Showmax and aired on Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv.
For the first night of the double weekend launch, we were introduced to 12 housemates who promised to bring the fun and vibes this new season.
Groovy
Groovy believes he is fun, level-headed and a genuinely creative person. He says he has an infectious vibe, and he is from Anambra.
Beauty
Beauty was the second housemate to grace the stage tonight. The 2019 Miss Nigeria is from Taraba State, and according to her, she is on the show to level up. She also mentioned that she is a self-love enthusiast who is expressive and straightforward.
Khalid
Khalid, the third housemate, is an archer, a skateboarder, and a boxer. On hearing that he got into the BBNaija house, the housemate from Plateau State revealed that he went to play basketball. Although Khalid is single, he is not searching.
Ilebaye
Ilebaye is an entrepreneur who owns a budding clothing brand O.I Clothings. While speaking on what she’s bringing to the show, she revealed she’s bringing the Gen Z drama, the fun and spice. The housemate from Kogi State doesn’t believe in love because she’s a baddie.
Cyph
The fifth housemate, Cyph, is a tech bro from Imo State. He hopes to bring drama, cruise, competition and ‘Inshallah’ to the BBNaija show. He also revealed that he likes food.
Amaka
Amaka, the sixth housemate, is a lover girl. She says BBNaija is the only road she knows. Amaka disclosed that she is ready to disappoint anyone who thinks a man would win the show. She is from Anambra State.
Kess
Kess, the seventh housemate, is a married entrepreneur who loves family more than anything else. He’s bringing ‘cruise’ day and night. Kess is coming into the Big Brother house to have fun. He is from Delta State.
Daniella
Daniella, the eighth housemate, is a 22-year-old poet. She’s here to show Nigeria and Africa what she’s got. According to her, she is creative and bringing love, light and energy. She’s from Cross-River state.
Pharmsavi
Pharmsavi is a pharmacist who doesn’t believe in love at first sight. The pharmacist from Akwa Ibom is also an entertainer and doesn’t involve himself in scuffles. He likes to dance and make people laugh.
Phyna
Phyna is on the show to make a difference and bring energy. She hates gossip, and she’s a fighter rather than a lover.
Bryann
Bryann is confident. He loves to act and produce music. The artiste who doesn’t love at first sight is currently single. He’s bringing energy and vibes to the show. Brian is from Imo state.
Christy O
Christy O, an indigene of Ondo state, wants to serve flavour and spice on the show. According to her, she’s fun to be with, and she’s attentive to her surroundings. She asks the viewers to watch out for her sarcasm.
The second launch of the show will be showing by 7 pm on Showmax and Africa Magic Channels on DStv and GOtv.
