After days of changing stories about what Boris Johnson knew of alleged predatory behaviour by former Deputy Chief Whip, Chris Pincher, several MPs including Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid have packed up their last straws and resigned.
You there boy, how many resignations is that pic.twitter.com/p4SjPjp17Y

At the last count, ten MPs had departed their roles – two ministers, four PPSs, two trade envoys, the Solicitor General, the Vice Chair, and a partridge in a pear tree.
Important to remember while the resignations are a tremendous blow to Boris Johnson, they are also very, very funny

This is like Succession, but shit.

As some MPs posted their letters of resignation and others declared their undying loyalty (Hello, Nadine), there was a rumoured explanation for the silence of Nadhim Zahawi.
Stand off in No10.
Boris wants Liz Truss to become Chancellor.
But Nadhim Zahawi says he will quit if he isn’t moved from Education to No11.

Whether it was arm wrestling, Rock Paper Scissors, or Who Has The Most Dirt on the Big Dog?, Mr Zahawi won the game.
Nadhim Zahawi has been appointed Chancellor following the resignation of Rishi Sunak

I have just made Nadhim Zahawi Chancellor because he has demonstrated excellent fiscal control, like that time he claimed £6k on expenses to heat his stables.

Finally, a Chancellor who understands the cost of heating stables crisis. https://t.co/axIpCItKeD

Flatmate: “This has to be the worst cabinet of all time. Nadhim Zahawi, Priti Patel, Stephen Barclay, Nadine Dorries, Boris Johnson…. It’s like a who’s who of human disasters!”

4.
Disappointed in @nadhimzahawi. How can you accept the role of Chancellor under a Prime Minister whose former Chancellor and former Health Secretary both deem him unfit to do the job? You’ve sat round the cabinet table with them week after week. Honestly don’t get it.

Last chancellor wasn’t fully resident in this country… latest chancellor not fully resident on this planet. From 2013: https://t.co/GjhlkJhOsn

Nadhim Zahawi has been appointed Chancellor following the resignation of Rishi Sunak. While Steve Barclay appointed new Health Secretary following Sajid Javid’s resignation. God help us all. God help us all.

Nadhim Zahawi would have resigned talking about heartfelt principles if he hadn’t have blackmailed his way to becoming Chancellor, a position he’s not likely to keep for very long anyway! https://t.co/oHyiZC16GM

We’re seeing those who put power above principles, and party about the people.
Shame on you @nadhimzahawi https://t.co/TQDDGP9Urn@VoteTrueAndFair
