Ultimately Undressed: Harcourt House’s Naked Show curators Kate Bang, E. Ross Bradley and Darren Kooyman invited participants in the artist run centre’s drawing and sculpture classes to explore the bare human form, literally and abstractly. Some 15 artists have their work in this 30th annual exploration of birthday-suit architecture, following that timeless tradition which over the artistic eras have reflected various cultural attitudes on sexuality, gender and social status. Presented in conjunction with The Works Art and Design Festival, 30 per cent of each sold piece supports Harcourt’s shows and education programs — and the work is also available to see and purchase online this weekend at harcourthouse.ab.ca.
