I’m not a gambling man, but having watched the recent NHL playoffs on TV I’m starting to pick up on the lingo. Take, for example, “short stack”. According to Wiktionary it means “a relatively small quantity of chips relative to the stakes” or alternately, “a quantity of chips which is far less than the average in the tournament”.
