Hermes Wins Head of House
In the second week’s Head of House games of the BBNaija Level Up season, Hermes beat other BBNaija housemates to clinch the Head of House title.
Housemates were required to set oily toy watches to a 4 o’clock time. With well-oiled hands on deck, housemates began the first round of games. The housemates put up a good fight, but only Cyph, Dotun and Hermes qualified for the next round of games.
For the next round, Biggie required housemates to put balls between their knees and move from one end to another. Anyone whose ball dropped must start all over again.
The Housemates huffed, but Hermes put up an energetic and imperious performance to win the Head of House for the week.
Chichi, on the contrary, became the second ever tail of the house – garnering the least points from the game.
Who Stays and Who Goes?
After Hermes’ win, Level 1 housemates had to put some of their counterparts up for eviction. In the end, Christy O, Cyph, Phyna, Khalid and Amaka were nominated. Who do you think will leave?
Squabbles and Scuffles
Heated moments and disagreements continued in the Big Brother house as housemates got to know one another better, recognising flaws and weaknesses.
One of those fights was among Eloswag, Bella, Chomzy and Sheggz. Eloswag came hard at Chomzy for nagging about his kiss with Level 2 housemate Phyna. Bella stood in for Chomzy, but Eloswag wasn’t having any of it, telling her to stick to her knitting. Sheggz then decided to stand in for Bella, causing a chain of back and forth between the housemates.
BBNaija Saturday parties never end peacefully, and Beauty proved that with the drama she caused because she was jealous that Groovy had danced with other girls at the party.
Despite caring for a friend, Ilebaye took all the heat as she almost got hurt physically by Beauty because she was trying to talk things out with her. This earned Beauty a strike and ilebaye a warning for aggravation.
Love Is in the Air
The highpoint of ships in the Big Brother Naija house this week had to be the steamy session between Khalid and Daniella under the duvet.
Having been drawn to each other recently, Khalid and Daniella finally had what appeared to be an intimate moment on the show. While it seemed a secret relationship at first, they revealed themselves as they openly locked lips at the Thursday pool party.
Similarly, Groovy and Beauty, despite their differences now and then, kissed each other at the party, letting everyone know that they would wax stronger in the face of highs and lows.
Watching how their faces lit up on seeing each other at the Showmax task, it was obvious that Doyin and Cyph were happy to see each other again. Housemates from different sides of the divide, Doyin and Cyph, are examples that there could genuinely be unity in diversity.
The Showmax Task
It was an eventful evening in the Big Brother Naija house on Thursday as Showmax came with an exhilarating and dramatic challenge that put housemates’ creative impulses and artistry to the test. Housemates were required to act a Showmax Original based on a handpicked genre, and they didn’t disappoint as they all performed great.
Modella was head above all in her performance, though. Coming top in the Showmax task and bagging herself a cameo on an upcoming Showmax Original.
Level 1 Win Wager Task
The week’s wager game was intense, with both houses set to put the other in their place with their sports creation. The Levels were challenged to create and present a sport that could become a worldwide phenomenon.
Level 1, who won the week’s wager, presented their game of Bum Ball, while level 2 put up a competition with their game of Card Shot.
With this win, Level 1 earned the right to the pool party on Thursday and 1,500 pocket naira for each housemate to purchase their needs in Big Brother’s house.
