Charlotte Hawkins accused Ed Miliband of going on holiday and it blew up in her face

You surely won’t watch a more cringeworthy fail today than when Good Morning Britan’s Charlotte Hawkins accused Ed Miliband of going on holiday.

Boris Johnson, as you know, is returned today from his second holiday and the GMB presenter presumably thought she smelt the whiff of hypocrisy in the air.

Not that Labour MP and shadow cabinet member Miliband is in the government or is actually prime minister or anything, obviously.

And it’s fair to say it didn’t end well, it didn’t end well at all.

No wonder the GMB presenter moved on so rapidly. We’re not going to come out from behind the sofa until you promise not to play it again.

This is such a cheap shot, Miliband handled it well though.
