I guess administration at the City of Edmonton and roadways in particular was not aware that Edmonton’s Fringe Festival takes place in Old Strathcona just north of the planned Gateway Boulevard road closure. Why would roadways start putting barricades up on the final days of the Fringe Festival closing two lanes of traffic going into Old Strathcona; such that it will create a significant backup of traffic over the last weekend of the Festival?
