Animethon: Born way back in 1994 by the Banzai Anime Klub of Alberta, this annual otaku event is back, celebrating all things anime and way beyond — including music, improv, gaming and of course amazing, fan-made costumes. From Attack on Titan to Overlord to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — plus classics like Akira and Pokemon — the sprawling event includes screenings, dancing, a Maid and Butler Café and plenty of fan panels.
