We’re six weeks into Big Brother Naija Level Up season, and the drama and twists this season is unrivalled. From Amaka’s unexpected eviction to the petty fights and conspiracies in the BBNaija house, this week has been a lot of drama for the housemates and the viewers.
Here are five highlights from this week on BBNaija.
Bella and Sheggz’s Questionable Ship
Unlike previous BBNaija seasons, there are no relationships in the house that the viewers particularly like, and this list includes Bella and Sheggz’s ship. This week the couple affirmed one of the many reasons why people dislike them together.
Not only is their relationship exhausting to watch, but their constant fights and Sheggz’s constant insults to Bella with the aim to correct and tame her is a horror movie waiting to happen on live TV.
Amaka’s Nonchalance and Eviction
The housemates and viewers were shocked as Big Brother revealed on Monday that the housemates were to nominate a housemate for immediate eviction. Amaka was the housemate with the highest nominations, and we could possibly say she brought it upon herself.
Her gisting nature and quest to get a ‘ship’ in the house had put her in a bad spot with most housemates. She had almost caused a fire because she was making a pie, earned a strike for her microphone infringement and punished for refusing to participate in a pre-game exercise.
Daniella and Dotun’s Situation
Daniella and Khalid seemed to be one of the bearable ships in the BBNaija house, but all has gone south as Daniella has moved on to Dotun. Their under duvet moment has ruined her relationship with Khalid outside the house, even if she regrets it as she was seen crying. What’s the use of crying over spilled beans?
Adekunle Conspires Against Doyin
Adekunle is an evil mastermind. This week, he planned to cause emotional and mental damage to certain housemates in the house to mess up their strategy; Doyin was one of those housemates.
He had been spreading narratives about Doyin stating that she plants herself in every couple’s relationship in the house. He disclosed this to Allysyn, who is Doyin’s close friend in the house; he even stated that Doyin had said negative things about Allysyn’s relationship with Hermes.
Although Allysyn went to Doyin for clarification, the matter had not escalated as Allysyn had begged Doyin not to say a thing, but Adekunle, who was eavesdropping on their conversation, was ready for an altercation.
Comical Wager
The weekly wager is one of the season’s highlights, and their theme for the week was ‘Only Fools and Horses’. In line with the wager, the housemates were to create and present a 30 – 45 minutes skit, and they indeed did well. From Hermes the lout to Bryann the poet, they all delivered. However, they still lost their wager.
