NEXT Weather: Warm-up starts Tuesday, possible 90-degree days ahead

MINNEAPOLIS – It will feel very summerlike Tuesday as thousands of Minnesota kids head back to school.

Dew points will start to rise in the afternoon and evening, and Tuesday’s high will be in the mid-80s throughout much of the state, kicking off a warming trend.

Highs will be close to 90 on Wednesday and Thursday, and storms will be possible Friday into Saturday.

Temperatures will cool to the mid-70s for the weekend.
