Nigel Farage has brought out his own gin and this prof’s takedown was 100% proof

Nigel Farage has taken time out from his busy career selling people messages on Cameo to put his name on a new brand of gin.

And it’s just as enticing and exciting as you’d expect it to be.

My brand new Farage gin is produced by an artisan distillery in the heart of Cornwall.

The launch prompted no end of comment, as you might imagine.

Wonder if Nige’s gin will be so successful it helps fill the sixty million quid annual hole left in Cornwall’s finances post-Brexit.

— The rogue pint glass at a student party that collects cigarette butts, spit, indiscriminate liquids etc
— The contents a pub drip-tray.

It’s Prof Tanja Bueltmann, chair in international history at the University of Strathclyde, picking up on Farage’s suggestion it was a ‘patriotic take on a quintessentially British drink’.
