I can’t believe the never-ending commotion stirred up by the public artwork The Buffalo and the Buffalo Fur Trader bronze sculptures intended to be installed beside the new Walterdale Bridge in Edmonton. The city has decided not to install the artwork. The city’s decision apparently rests on the potential for the artwork to be misinterpreted as a celebration of colonization. Read More
