Premier Smith was elected to the legislature on Tuesday. For the first month of her premiership, she has been playing to her base by demonizing COVID-19 restrictions as opposed to focusing on real issues Albertans are facing. Smith has promised no future vaccine mandates or health restrictions against the advice of professionals, will soon fire the CMOH, and is pushing an amendment to the Human Rights Act to prohibit discrimination against those not vaccinated against COVID-19. The NDP are now begging the government not to take advice from unlicensed medical professionals pushing COVID-19 conspiracies. The premier’s approach to COVID-19 is clearly reckless. Read More
