The reality TV show, set to premiere on January 15, 2022, with contestants from both Nigeria and South Africa will be hosted by BBNaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and BBMzansi’s host, Lawrence Maleka.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu disclosed that he is excited to host the show alongside his long-time friend, Lawrence.

“I’m very excited. Lawrence Maleka is my friend, and I’ve known him for about seven years. He is a great host. He hosts BBMzansi, and I host BBNaija – it just makes sense that we come together this time. So I’m looking forward to it. I’m used to being on stage alone, but it would be nice to see how this works,” he told Netng.

While speaking at the press conference on the expected rivalry between South Africa and Nigeria, the media personality mentioned that he thinks it’s all healthy rivalry and hopes that the same rivalry extends to the show.

“We have a very healthy rivalry on all fronts, whether it’s music, fashion, everywhere, and I know that it would extend to this. But I call it a healthy rivalry because it does not mean we necessarily hate each other. So I’m looking forward to great entertainment and drama but keeping it healthy.”

Big Brother Titans will be premiering on GOtv Channel 29 and DStv Channel 198 on January 15, 2023, and the winner of the show happening in South Africa will go home with the grand prize of $100,000 (₦‎44 million).
