Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
E.coli is a bacteria found in the intestines of humans and animals but particular strains can cause severe illness.
The most common way to get an E.coli infection is by eating contaminated food, which may lead to stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting or bloody diarrhea.
In serious instances, it can cause kidney failure and is most dangerous in infants and elderly people. E.coli infections range in severity and tend to last a week.
