Police charged an Alberta man with firearms trafficking.
In September, Edmonton police started investigating a 50-year-old man from Gibbons, about 20 kilometres north of Edmonton, who they suspected of firearm trafficking, police said in a Monday news release.
Police said the effort yielded “additional evidence” supporting that the accused trafficked firearms.
Police charged Nanthakhone Keomanivong with two counts each of firearms trafficking, careless storage of a firearm and “unauthorized storage location.”
