Award-winning writer and filmmaker Chris Ihidero will facilitate the sixth edition of the storytelling class for three days in March.
PinPoint Media, in collaboration with Lagos Film Academy (LFA), announces Chris Ihidero’s Story Story – one of the biggest platforms for aspiring and budding storytellers in and outside Nigeria’s diverse film industry, Nollywood – four years after its last run.
Story Story was born as a nod to foremost Nigerian filmmaker Amaka Igwe and the desire to contribute towards better storytelling in an ever-growing creative industry. Through his work as a writer and producer on critically acclaimed and fan-favourite shows like Mnet’s Hush, Fuji House of Commotion, and MTV Shuga Naija, Chris has learnt first-hand the rigours of crafting great stories, and what works for storytelling in different contexts.
This year, Chris’s teaching will focus on the authenticity of story, creatives honing their authentic voices in a world filled with so much creativity and diversity, and selling their craft in and out of the country as Nigeria continues to cement its place globally in a rapidly changing creative world.
Chris Ihidero’s ‘Story Story’ will run from 15th – 17th of March and will be open to a limited slot of fifty people.
