A look at Tuesday’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

Currently, it’s -15 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 10 km/h winds from the east, northeast with a wind chill of -21.

The temperature for Tuesday is slightly cooler with a daytime high of -11 C with 15 km/h winds, which will make it feel closer to -20. Overnight the temperature dips to -13 C and with the wind chill it will feel more like -19.

Wednesday will be a little warmer with a daytime high of -5 C and a wind chill of -16 in the morning and -9 in the afternoon.

The forecast is calling for temperature above zero on Thursday. So, will March come in like a lamb and out like a lion? We’ll have to wait and see. The 14 day forecast seems to show that temperatures are expected to get colder as the month goes on.

Perhaps Balzac Billy was wrong when he predicted an early start to spring in Alberta on Groundhogs Day.
