Another unboxing video revealing the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and the contents of the retail box has emerged. The one we shared earlier today came from Samsung and was a bit shorter, but the new unboxing video – this time by Microsoft employees – offers a more in-depth look at the device and the accompanying S Pen.
One of the most striking characteristics of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is that the convertible form factor with a 360-degree hinge doesn’t take away from the laptop’s slim profile. It’s very thin compared to other 360-degree laptops but still retains full-size HDMI and USB-B ports. Clearly, Samsung’s made some noteworthy advancements in hinge technology ever since it released the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip smartphones.
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 ships with a power brick, a USB-C cable, and an S Pen, the latter of which pairs nicely with the 120Hz AMOLED display. The unboxing video below showcases the 16-inch model with a bigger keyboard and a generous trackpad.
Samsung brings Android smartphones and Windows OS closer together
Another thing that sets the Galaxy Book 3 series apart from other Windows laptops is the deep integration with the Galaxy S23 smartphone series.
One UI 5.1 and Galaxy Book 3 users get access to features like Adobe Lightroom syncing across devices. And since the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 notebook comes with an S Pen, it benefits from access to One UI apps such as Samsung Notes and Gallery.
Furthermore, Galaxy Book 3 users can utilize the laptop’s mouse, keyboard, and touchpad to control not only Galaxy tablets but also the Galaxy S23 series. This is a One UI 5.1 feature and may become available to other Galaxy smartphones through a future firmware update.
In essence, the Galaxy Book 3 is the perfect pair for Galaxy smartphone users wanting a more integrated Windows 11 experience. We also spent a bit of time with the Book 3 Pro and Book 3 Pro 360 at Unpacked, and you can check out our first impressions in the hands-on video below. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 starts at $1,899, and Samsung will sell you one starting February 17. Or you can pre-order right away through the company’s online store.
