A man was killed Saturday in a highway collision with a semi truck near Grande Prairie, police say.
The statement did not give an exact time for the collision, but said RCMP officers and collision reconstructionist were still at the scene as of 11:35 a.m. on Saturday.
“The westbound lanes are closed and eastbound traffic will be down to one lane to allow for westbound traffic. Motorists can expect a lengthy delay and are asked to avoid the area,” the statement said.
Grande Prairie is about 450 km northwest of Edmonton.
