Young woman dies after found unresponsive, police investigate

Police are investigating the death of a young woman who "collapsed" in Ipswich over the weekend.

Emergency services found the 19-year-old woman unresponsive in Bundamba about 9.30pm on Saturday.

The young woman was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, where she died on Sunday night.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

Investigators have not said who called emergency services but said it had been reported she "collapsed".

"No further information is available at this time," Queensland Police said.
