Officials of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) have stormed the polling unit of Governor Nasir El-Rufai in Kaduna State.
The ICPC officials arrived at the Polling Unit 024, Ward 07, Ungwan Sarki, in Kaduna North Local Government Area of the state at about 9.35 am.
Some voters were already at the polling unit to cast their votes at the time the ICPC officials arrived but Governor El-Rufai himself was yet to arrive.
Naija News recalls Governor El-Rufai won his polling unit with the All Progressive Congress (APC) scoring 173 votes, while the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party got 134 votes during the February 25 presidential election.
Meanwhile, unlike the last elections, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived early with materials and the election commenced at 8.30 am in most polling units in the metropolis.
