With the benefit of maximum COVID vaccination protection (five shots to date), we have thus far thankfully avoided COVID infection. Since it has been more than five months since our last shot, we recently attempted to obtain our sixth COVID vaccination, only to be told upon arriving at our local pharmacy that Alberta Health Services will not authorize a sixth shot (even if we were prepared to pay for it).
