The Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) has concluded plans to form an alliance with other major political parties to wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Imo State Governorship election.
Naija News reports that the Imo gubernatorial election is scheduled to hold on November 11, 2023.
ADC disclose that it would form an alliance with the Labour Party (LP), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and other notable parties.
Speaking to newsmen on Saturday, the National Vice Chairman of ADC, South East, Chilos Godsent, disclosed that the alliance is tagged, “Rainbow Alliance.”
He stated that the alliance would be a ‘ballot revolution” in the state where the electorate would be mobilized in large numbers to vote for their governorship candidate.
He said: “We, therefore, advise Senator Hope Uzodimma and the APC in Imo State to start packing their personal belongings out of the Government House before November 11, 2023, as ADC South East has set up Contact and Mobilisation Committee (CMC) and Political Action Committee (PAC) to commence intensive mobilization of Imo electorate geared towards the launching of the Rainbow Alliance with other political parties, organizations, and blocs, targeted towards sending Uzodimma and APC packing through November 11 ballot revolution.”
He urged the people of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru where the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed a rerun election to come out and vote for Chinonso Uba, the party’s candidate.

It's not a glitch, but a tribute to <a href="https://www.mtlblog.com/tag/montreal-roses" target="_blank">Montreal's new professional women’s soccer team, the Montreal Roses</a>.</p><p>While public backlash ensued when the neon red sign was <a href="https://www.farinefiveroses.ca/a-brief-history-of-the-sign" target="_blank">briefly turned off and almost permanently removed back in 2006</a>, the ongoing changes should spark a different kind of reaction. </p><p>Each night until May 6, only the word “ROSES” will glow, while the rest of the sign remains dark.
