Winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has tendered a public apology to her fans over her unruly behaviour since she gained fame.
Naija News reports that Phyna, in a video shared on Instagram today (Monday) April 3, 2023, said she has experienced many ups and down in the past six months of fame.
The reality TV star apologized to everyone she had offended and those who felt displeased with her loudness on social media, noting she is not proud of the last six months experience.
According to her, she has undergone training on how to act appropriately, stressing that someone from her kind of background will need time to adjust to the lifestyle of fame.
Phyna added she is ready to work with everyone and can’t wait to share the experience of her next six months and many more years.
In her words: “It’s been six months now since I won the show, Big Brother Naija Season 7, and a lot has gone down and up for the past 6 months. A lot has happened, I want to use this medium to say that I’m really sorry if I have really offended a lot of people over the past six months.
“I wish to let you know that I have gone through a lot of training, on how to behave now and I believe that you all should understand that someone from my kind of background bagging fame and money all of a sudden, will need time.
“So I have gotten the time of six months and I’m ready to be out there because the past six months is not a period I would say, I have been proud of, I have really worked on myself and I think I’m ready to go now. I will now say I have a fame of six months and know how it works and I know how I’m supposed to behave.
“So I’m sorry to everyone that felt offended by my loudness and talks. I can’t wait to share the experience of my next 6 months and many more years, I’m looking forward to working with all of you.”
