A woman thought to be in her 50s has died in an alleged stabbing in Sydney's inner-south in what police say was a domestic violence incident.
NSW Police were called at at 6.10pm on Easter Sunday to a block of units in Church Avenue in Mascot, where they found a woman with stab wounds.
NSW Ambulance crews tried to save her but she died at the scene,

A 61-year old man has been arrested and taken to Mascot police station.
The woman is yet to be formally identified.
Police are investigating.
