Plan B’, a song only available with its visuals on his social media pages progressively addresses why most young Nigerians have decided to leave the country. With lines like ‘Go market everything cost, on top your degree you no go find job, government sef no respect us. This Naija e no be by force.’

With these lines, he shares the frustration of Nigerians towards the inadequacies of the former presidents of Nigeria. He addresses the issue of police brutality and inflation, while also addressing pastors who seemed to have sided with the government with their preachings and lavish lifestyles.

The video created by Toritsemofe Kujore, a videographer and Editor at Chocolate City, compiles clips of crucial and messy moments in Nigeria’s history in the past year while addressing the issues some are shying away from.

M.I Abaga joins a small group of Nigerian artistes who have addressed the government’s inadequacies with his music. Falz also released a single on March 30, 2023, addressing the electoral discrepancies in the 2023 elections as he questioned the INEC Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood.

The endpoint is that Nigeria needs a leadership that knows what they are doing. Whether Tinubu would be the beginning of the end for Nigerians, we would find out as the years go by.
